We are looking for an individual passionate about customer service, water safety and poolside duties. Someone who enjoys a dynamic and fast-paced environment and being on the move behind the scenes, for the purpose of delivering a safe and enjoyable experience for customers. You will be a driven, ambitious and independent team player, with a positive and welcoming personality and the ability to build friendly relationships with colleagues and guests.

To work as part of a team to ensure all facilities are presented to the highest levels of cleanliness. To ensure a warm, friendly and professional atmosphere and high standard of customer care at all times in order to generate customer loyalty. To assist the Duty Manager with the daily activities programme, swimming pool patrolling, and setting up equipment. To assist the Duty Manager on the effective control and security of the facility, patrolling all appropriate areas ensuring equipment is stored safely and securely. To be aware of all Health and Safety issues within the centre, to constantly implement and assess the practices and draw attention to any unsafe practices. To receive telephone, written and personal bookings and payments for use of the centre's facilities. To ensure cash handling and reconciliation of monies is carried out. To operate the public address systems, telephones and computer booking system. To help maintain the centre in a clean, tidy and pleasant environment in which to work. To undertake any other duties as may be required to assist in the running of the centre. To undertake other such duties consistent with the nature of the post and grade as required by the Service Lead, whilst working to support the brand narrative of Exeter’s place-based brand ‘Exeter Live Better’.
