The role of Democratic Services Officer is to support the governance of the council through exceptional administrative skills and the ability to provide procedural advice both through research and during committee meetings.
About the team
The Democratic Services Team is a small team who work together to ensure all aspects of the democratic function of the council are supported and managed in accordance with legislation and local practice.
You will be an effective communicator with the ability to work at a variety of levels including with senior officers, members and the public. You will be organised and self-motivated with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
