Volunteer Working Party – Painting & Maintenance

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our Working Party team to help with painting and general maintenance projects. This is a great opportunity to support your Club working in the local community, meeting new people and making a visible difference.

Who are we?

Exeter City Football Club is a special club with over 20 years of Supporters’ Trust ownership something we are very proud of. Our ownership model places our supporters and community engagement at the forefront of everything we do and we are proud to have a special place in the heart of the community. Trust ownership is reflected in our commitment to balancing on-field success with long-term sustainability and we have a remarkable track record of nurturing talent through our Academy, promoting players to the first team, and maximising their performance. In addition to the success of our Academy and men’s team Exeter City Women successfully transitioned into being fully managed by the Club in 2024 and were promoted to the third tier of women’s football in the FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division in 2024.

Role Overview

Volunteers will assist with:

  • Painting walls within the main Park building, Changing Rooms at St james Park, stadium bowl/exterior area and interior areas at The Cliff Hill Training Ground.
  • Preparing surfaces and tidying workspaces
  • Basic maintenance and improvement tasks
  • Working safely as part of a friendly team

What We’re Looking For

  • Reliable and positive attitude
  • Willingness to work outdoors and as part of a group
  • No previous experience required as guidance and equipment provided
  • Ability to follow health and safety instructions

Time Commitment

Flexible volunteer sessions available. Volunteers can join for a few hours or full working party days.

Volunteers will need to be available pre season, during the months of July and August with our first home match taking place on the 22nd August 2026.
