Exeter City Football Club seeks to ensure the safety, safeguarding and wellbeing of all children, young people and adults at risk who engage in its activities.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Matchday Media Assistant to join our Media & Communications team and support coverage of all Men’s first team away matches and operate our big screen on home matchdays at St James Park.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience within professional football media as you will work alongside the Club’s media team helping to deliver engaging, timely and high-quality content across our website and digital platforms. The successful candidate will play an important role in bringing supporters closer to the team by capturing the atmosphere, action and behind-the-scenes moments from matchdays.

Role

On home matchdays, the role will involve operating the stadium big screen and scoreboard, loading matchday graphics, team line-ups, sponsor content and videos, updating live match information, delivering replays and half-time content, and working closely with the stadium announcer, media team and match officials to ensure a smooth matchday experience. Full training will be provided for this.

For away fixtures, the role will involve supporting the Media team with first team coverage by creating engaging content for the Club’s website and social media channels. Duties will include providing live match updates or creating video content for pitchside highlights as well as assisting with interviews and helping produce match reports, short-form videos and post-match content.

The successful candidate will need to have a passion for football, strong attention to detail, good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced matchday environment. Experience in media, content creation, photography or video production would be advantageous.
