Role: As a Matchday Catering Assistant, you will help deliver an outstanding fan experience by preparing and serving food from our Grecian Grill in our busy Fan Zone working in a fast-paced matchday environment. You will provide friendly, efficient customer service, process payments accurately, maintain high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness, and ensure your work area is well stocked and organised. Working as part of a supportive team, you'll contribute to creating a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable atmosphere for all supporters while upholding the club's commitment to excellence.
We welcome applicants with a positive attitude, strong customer service skills and a willingness to learn. Previous catering or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. Successful candidates will need to be available to work in line with home matchdays, including weekends and evening fixtures. Hours will primarily be home matchdays and shifts will be agreed and allocated between the hours of 9am and 7pm on a Saturday and 4pm and 10pm on Tuesday evening matches. There may also be opportunity to work on occasions throughout the year for non-matchday events.
As detailed above shifts will primarily be allocated on the Grecian Grill, however on occasions as part of the matchday team you may be asked to cover other kiosks in line with business needs.
Hourly Rate: £13.45 per hour aligned to Real Living Wage plus paid holiday (hourly rate including holiday pay totals approximately £15.07 per hour).
