Role
As Finance Director for the Women’s Board, the successful candidate will be required to report and present financial information to the Women’s Board. Working collaboratively with the Club Board and central finance function, the finance director will ensure financial plans for the women’s team align with wider club strategy, balance sporting ambitions with group-wide financial objectives and support governance and compliance across both entities.
Responsibilities

- Support governance and compliance across both the Women’s Board and the Club Board.
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Senior finance leadership experience.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling skills.
- Knowledge of sports finance, governance and football regulations (desirable).
- Ability to present and communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Commitment
Volunteer, non-remunerated role with reasonable expenses reimbursed in accordance with club policy. Commit approximately two days per month, including attendance at board meetings, preparation of papers, participation in working groups and key club events.
Board Membership
Women’s Board members serve in a voluntary, non-remunerated capacity and provide strategic leadership, governance and expertise to support the continued growth and success of the women’s team.
