Inspire discovery. Support innovation. Make science happen. We're looking for an enthusiastic, organised, and proactive Science Technician to join our team and play a vital role in bringing science to life. You will be working to inspire 16‑18 year‑olds to be the next generation of scientists.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing materials, chemicals, and equipment for practical lessons
  • Setting up and clearing away experiments efficiently and safely
  • Maintaining laboratory equipment and organising stock
  • Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Supporting teachers and students during practical activities
  • Managing inventory and ordering supplies when needed
  • Supporting delivery of assessments in Faculty

Qualifications & Experience

  • Organised, methodical, and detail‑oriented
  • Passionate about science
  • Confident handling laboratory equipment and chemicals safely
  • Proactive and able to work independently
  • A strong communicator and team player
  • Calm under pressure and able to manage multiple tasks

Previous experience in a laboratory or educational setting is an advantage, but enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to learn are just as important.
