Are you experienced in assessing students for exam arrangements and ready to lead a fantastic, highly experienced team? Join a highly supportive and collaborative team where staff work closely together to ensure every student receives the access they need to succeed.

You’ll…

  • lead a team of Assessors who help students get the right exam access arrangements
  • screen and assess students for exam access needs, liaising with schools and parents where needed
  • keep up to date with changes to JCQ regulations and make sure they are implemented
  • manage student referrals and support teaching staff with exam arrangements
  • deliver training and share expertise with staff across the college
  • Get involved in college life – supporting open events, helping with invigilation, or being a friendly face around campus.

Role is Exeter based but you will supervise teams across the Exeter & North Devon Group.

Qualifications

  • Qualified with a Level 7 Assessor Award (essential)
  • Proactive, organised and methodical
  • Passionate about supporting students
  • Experienced at assessing students for exam access arrangements
  • A great communicator with excellent IT skills
  • Thorough and meticulous, with a real eye for detail

Remuneration

£2,000 retention payment (£1,000 payable at the end of year 1 and year 2). Must be employed in this role at Exeter College at the time of payment.
