We're looking for an inspirational and adaptable H20 Lecturer to join our Inclusion, Work & Independence team. This is more than a teaching role. It's an opportunity to make a genuine difference to young people's lives, helping them re-engage with education and take positive steps towards further study, training and employment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver engaging, personalised learning programmes tailored to individual needs.
- Support learners in home, community and college-based environments.
- Build positive relationships that inspire confidence, resilience and independence.
- Act as a mentor and advocate for young people facing barriers to education.
- Work collaboratively with parents, carers, colleagues and external professionals.
- Support learner progression, attendance, achievement and successful transitions into college learning.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience teaching, training, mentoring or supporting young people.
- Can engage and motivate learners who may feel anxious, reluctant or disengaged from education.
- Is creative, patient, resilient and committed to helping every learner succeed.
- Can adapt their teaching and communication style to meet individual needs.
- Believes in high aspirations and the transformative power of education.
- Holds an appropriate teaching qualification and Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy qualifications.
