The airport is looking for an in-house mechanic to join the team in maintaining its various vehicles and equipment on site. The position is varied and will utilise your experience to enhance the team.
Are you someone who has personal qualities and attributes to work on old and new motorised vehicles and aviation equipment? In addition, you will assist in maintaining aviation Pushback Tugs, Passenger Coaches, Aviation Ground Power Machinery/GSE (Ground Support Equipment) and Ground Maintenance Equipment i.e. strimmers, blowers, grass cutters and tractors which keep the airport operational.
Key responsibilities:- Carry out servicing, fault finding and repairs of all vehicles and equipment.
- Being part of the Winter Snow Clearing & Airfield De-icing operation.
- Once deemed competent, you will be required to cover weekends & evenings on a rota basis.
For being On Call you will receive additional pay, in the region of £4,000.
