As a Tanker Driver at Certas Energy, you'll play a vital role in safely delivering fuel products to our customers while representing our brand to the highest standards. Working across a range of customer locations, you'll ensure deliveries are completed efficiently, safely and in line with company procedures, helping to keep homes, businesses and industries running smoothly every day.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Safely deliver fuel products in accordance with company procedures, delivery instructions and current legislation.
  • Carry out vehicle safety inspections and daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness before each journey.
  • Follow all Health, Safety, Environmental and quality procedures, reporting accidents, incidents, spills or operational issues promptly.
  • Maintain full compliance with Driver’s Handbook requirements, depot operational procedures and company policies.
  • Load and discharge products safely and accurately, ensuring deliveries are completed correctly and efficiently.
  • Verify customer, product and delivery information before dispensing product and obtain proof of delivery where required.
  • Act as a professional ambassador for Certas Energy, providing excellent customer service at every interaction.
  • Communicate effectively with depot teams, supervisors and customers regarding delivery schedules, issues or discrepancies.
  • Promote company products and services where appropriate and identify opportunities for additional business.
  • Build positive working relationships across the business and contribute to a culture of teamwork, safety and operational excellence.

What we’ll need from you:

  • Class C or Class C+E licence, depending on role requirements.
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Good numerical and logical reasoning ability.
  • Ability to work independently while remaining a strong team player.
  • Previous tanker or fuel industry experience would be advantageous.
