Role Description
The Reformer Pilates Specialist will deliver high-quality, client-focused Reformer Pilates sessions in an on-site setting in London on a contract basis.
Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing client needs, designing tailored programs for performance, rehabilitation, and general wellbeing, and providing safe, evidence-informed instruction on Reformer equipment.
The role involves closely monitoring client progress, adjusting programs based on clinical and functional outcomes, and maintaining clear documentation of sessions.
The Specialist will collaborate with other members of the multidisciplinary team where appropriate, contribute to a professional and welcoming studio environment, and uphold ERUK’s standards of care, communication, and client experience.
Some scheduling flexibility, occasional evening or weekend work, and participation in internal training or case discussions may be required.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Reformer Pilates, with recognised instructor certification and experience working with diverse client populations, including those in rehabilitation and performance settings.
- Strong Sports Coaching and Coaching skills, with the ability to motivate, guide, and safely progress clients through structured exercise programs.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal instruction, active listening, and the ability to explain complex movement and rehabilitation concepts in accessible terms.
- Comfort engaging in Sales-related activities, such as discussing packages, supporting client retention, and promoting services in a professional, client-centered manner.
- Experience working alongside or coordinating with other health and wellness professionals in multidisciplinary or clinical environments.
- Relevant vocational or academic background in exercise science, physiotherapy, sports therapy, or a related field is highly beneficial.
- Up-to-date knowledge of exercise safety, contraindications, and modifications for common musculoskeletal and health conditions.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain professional standards of punctuality, documentation, and ethics.
