As a Health Care Assistant, you'll support adults living with complex care needs to live their best lives. We support adults living with complex mental health needs, dementia and physical disabilities. The home\'s Robin Unit is exclusively for people who identify as male. Responsibilities
- Support people to live their best lives, whatever that looks like to them; day-to-day responsibilities include encouraging and engaging people in learning and developing their daily living skills and independence
- Recognise when people are unwell and provide the appropriate support
- Assist people with personal care such as washing, showering and getting dressed
- Support people at meal times
- Support people with their health and wellbeing needs
- Encourage people to take part in social activities, both inside and outside the home
- Promote choice, dignity, independence and respect at all times
- Fill in care records
Qualifications
- Six months experience in a care setting required; qualifications are not essential for this role
