Care home: Shire Oaks Court
Location: 6 Brownhills Road, Walsall Wood, Walsall, WS8 7BP
Contract type: 28 Hours Per Week, Weekends required
Rate: £12.71 Per Hour
Responsibilities
- Carry out daily and weekly cleaning routines, including dusting, mopping, polishing and vacuuming.
- Clean and tidy designated areas across the home, including bedrooms, lounges, kitchens, bathrooms and offices.
- Use equipment such as carpet cleaning machines.
- Support washing and drying laundry as required.
- Report breakages, damage, defects and hazards.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene to promote choice, dignity and independence of residents.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in cleaning or domestic work (not essential), with a keen eye for detail.
- Team player with strong communication and listening skills.
- Positive, can-do attitude; kind, caring and understanding.
