About the Role
Senior Health Care Assistants work closely with the Nurse in Charge to lead a small Care Team, supporting every aspect of residents’ day‑to‑day lives. This role offers the chance to make a real difference each day, working in a supportive, high‑staffing environment.
Responsibilities
- Support residents with personal care and hygiene.
- Assist with meal times and feeding support.
- Understand individual health and wellbeing needs.
- Encourage and support residents to take part in social activities, both in and out of the home.
- Promote choice, dignity, independence and respect.
- Lead, motivate and support a team of care colleagues.
- Ensure that care documentation is completed to a high standard.
Qualifications
- Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care.
- Mathematics and English GCSE Grade C or above (or relevant functional skills qualification).
- Experience working in a care setting and a passion for supporting adults with complex needs.
