Contract type:Full time (42 or 48 hours per week available)
Rate:£23.50 per hour (up to £53,700 per annum)

Join us as our new Night Nurse Manager at Springfield Valecare home in Barnsley.
In this role, youll work at a senior level, under the leadership of the Clinical Nurse Manager, to manage a team of nursing and care colleagues, drive quality and maintain high standards of care within the home.

Were proud to work alongside the University of Stirling to design a purpose-built home with dementia friendly spaces.
The University of Stirling has a distinct reputation in the field of dementia and ageing. Their international centre for knowledge exchange – the Dementia Services Development Centre (DSDC) – is recognised worldwide as a leader in the field of dementia design.
At Springfield Vale, were implementing their evidence-based environmental design principles to offer a non-pharmacological approach to support responsive behaviours associated with dementia.
About the role
As a Night Nurse Manager with Exemplar Health Care,youll be at the forefront of clinical care delivery for the people living at Springfield Vale.
No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- leadingyour homes care and nursing teams to ensure we meet the medical, physical and emotional needs of the people we support
- providingstrong leadershipto maintain and continuously develop high standards of care and drive continuous improvement
- overseeing and managing all your unitsclinical elements and risks
- ensuringcare plans and risk assessmentsare completed and reviewed in a timely manner and reflect care interventions appropriately
- acting as theNamed Nursefor residents allocated to you, with responsibility for the oversight, review and update of their care profiles
- the supervision and management of your units ordering, handling,storage,administration, recordinganddisposalofmedication.

Youll be a natural role model with the ability to manage your units team of Registered Nurses, Nurse Associates and Health Care Assistants.
To apply for this role, you must have:
- A valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN. Were looking experienced Nurses from all backgrounds, Adult, Mental Health and Learning Disability Nurses / RGN, RMN, RNLD.
- As this is a complex dementia care home, we are looking for a Unit Manager with dementia experience and/or training or qualifications
- As this is a management role, you should also have post-registration and management or supervisory .
Youll also have:
- a thorough understanding of best practice in nursing care
- an excellent range of clinical and communication skills that youre able to demonstrate
- an enthusiastic approach to encouraging and motivating people
- the ability to work confidently on your own initiative
- a good standard of digital skills
