About the role:
As a Senior Nurse - Professional Practice with Exemplar Health Care, you will provide authoritative leadership for professional nursing practice, ensuring alignment with the NMC Code and best practice standards. No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Designing and assuring professional development pathways that strengthen capability, retention, and succession.
- Overseeing high-quality student placement governance and learner experience, working in partnership with Higher Education Institutions.
- Championing pastoral support for students, newly appointed nurses, and developing practitioners.
- Supporting the design and evaluation of new and extended nursing roles, underpinned by clear governance and measurable impact.
- Contributing to organisational learning from incidents, audits, and reviews where professional practice is a factor.
About you:

- A current NMC registration and a strong track record of senior responsibility for professional practice, education, or workforce development.
- Credibility, emotional intelligence, and confidence.

- A Postgraduate education in leadership, education, or workforce development is desirable.
- Experience of competence frameworks, professional assurance systems, and learner supervision.
