Position: Registered Mental Health Nurse

Care home: Jubilee Heights

Location: Bury, Bl9 0HE

Contract type: Full time (must be flexible, day and night 12 hour shifts)

Rate: £23.10 per hour

The home will support adults living with acquired brain injuries, complex mental health needs, dementia and physical disabilities. About Jubilee Heights: Jubilee Heights will offer a caring environment where people receive the support they need, close to their loved ones. The home will feature 40 en-suite bedrooms, across four units, each unit will have its own dining room, lounge, and sensory bathroom. With this small group living, we’re able to provide a homely and supportive environment that’s more responsive to individual needs. This is an incredibly exciting time to join us and be a part of the development of a brand new service.

About The Role: This is a highly skilled nursing role where you’ll be accountable and responsible for supporting people’s holistic needs. It requires a range of clinical and nursing skills. You’ll provide the highest standards of nursing care for adults living with complex care and health needs. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • assessing, planning and providing person-centred nursing care for the people we support
  • the safe administration of medication
  • promoting health and wellbeing
  • being the Nurse in Charge of a small unit whilst on shift
  • managing situations when people display behaviours of concern
  • promoting choice, dignity, independence and respect
