About the Role
We’re looking for a catering assistant to support our new and state‑of‑the‑art kitchen at Jubilee Heights care home. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Preparing meals
- Maintaining the kitchen
- Ensuring each resident has a positive dining experience
- Assisting with basic food preparation
- Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy, including washing, cleaning freezers and mopping floors
- Cleaning and sanitising all tableware
- Understanding residents’ needs, likes and choices to help the cook develop suitable menus
- Interacting with residents to gather feedback on meals
- Complying with food hygiene standards
- Working as a great team player within the wider catering team
About You
