About the role
As a Catering Assistant you will support the Chef in preparing and cooking meals for residents, set dining tables and maintain a clean kitchen to ensure a positive dining experience for all.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with basic food preparation.
- Keep the kitchen clean and tidy, including washing up, cleaning freezers and mopping floors.
- Clean and sanitise all tableware.
- Understand residents’ needs, likes and choices to help develop suitable menus.
- Interact with residents to gather feedback on meals.
- Comply with food hygiene standards.
- Collaborate as a team player within the wider Catering Team.
