Position: Domestic Assistant
Care home: Meadowcroft
Location: Sutton-in-Ashfield, NG17 4BR
Contract type: 16 hours per week
Rate: £12.21 per hour

Do you take pride in your cleaning standards and attention to detail? As a Domestic Assistant, you’ll ensure that our home is clean and welcoming for the people who live and work here.
Responsibilities
- Carry out all daily and weekly cleaning routines, including dusting, mopping, polishing and vacuuming, as well as ad-hoc duties.
- Clean and tidy designated areas around the home including bedrooms, lounges, kitchens, bathrooms, and offices.
- Use equipment such as carpet cleaning machines.
- Support with washing and drying laundry, as required.
- Report breakages, damage, defects and hazards.
- Build trust and promote choice, dignity and independence.
- Assist with high standards of cleanliness and hygiene to keep the home welcoming.
Qualifications and attributes
- Relevant experience is valued but not essential for this role.
- You are kind, caring and understanding with a keen eye for detail.
- You are an excellent team player with a positive, can-do attitude and strong listening/communication skills.
