About the role: Occupational Therapists at Wytham Lodge provide specialist assessments, clinical diagnoses and interventions to help residents overcome the challenges they face with completing everyday tasks and activities. You will work as part of a wider Clinical Team to create person‑centred care and rehabilitation plans that maintain and build people’s abilities, support them to achieve their goals and evaluate their outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work alongside residents, their loved ones and professionals to develop and deliver person‑centred occupational therapy interventions.
  • Collaborate closely with the Therapy Team (Physiotherapist, Therapy Assistant and Activities Coordinators).
  • Be responsible for a clinical caseload.
  • Carry out assessments.
  • Maintain accurate records for people receiving occupational therapies.
  • Promote choice, dignity and independence.

Qualifications and skills:

  • BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy.
  • HCPC registered.
  • Thorough understanding of occupational therapy best practice.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide a wide range of occupational therapy interventions and treatments.
