The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.

Location: Covering homes across West Midlands area (Tipton, Kings Heath, Tile Cross, Walsall).

Contract: 12 months fixed term (maternity cover).

Working hours: 40 hours per week, predominantly Monday to Friday but must be flexible.

About the role

As an Operational Quality Improvement Manager you will support the Clinical Director to deliver the Exemplar Quality Strategy, focusing on Clinical Excellence, Sustainable Outstanding Quality and Digital Transformation. Work with the Operational team (Clinical Nurse Managers) to offer support, coach and drive action. Act as a link nurse for one of the following specialisms: Nutrition and Hydration (including dysphagia and diabetes), Tissue Viability, End of life (including verification of death). Follow an improvement strategy per service focusing on compliance and effectiveness of Quality Assurance (clinical stats management, RCA and follow‑up), Care plans and risk assessments. Support CNMs to update action plans following internal or external inspections. Ensure specialist training analysis reviews are conducted monthly and support compliance with specialist training. Assist with the development of quality policies and procedures, audit materials and Service User information materials. Support the implementation of new initiatives to improve Service User quality of life.

About you

  • Registered nurse, ideally with a nursing degree.
  • Evidence of further professional development in care, management or quality.
  • Ideally holds a coaching qualification, able to coach and motivate others.
  • Strong background in action planning and Service User care focus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Pragmatic in approach with strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across the business.
  • Willingness to travel to all locations of the business.
