As a Lead Activities Coordinator, you’ll lead your team in organising meaningful and entertaining activities for the people we support. You’ll play a key role in empowering them to live fulfilled and happy lives. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference every day. Join us as our new Lead Activities Coordinator/Life Skills Coordinator at Greenside Court care home in Rotherham.
Responsibilities
- Organise individual activity plans based on people’s unique goals and interests.
- Foster community spirit through group activities.
- Support people to maintain their current hobbies and take up new interests and educational opportunities.
- Assist people to become more involved in their local community.
- Celebrate national awareness days, holidays, and individual/collective achievements.
- Lead the in‑house Activities Team.
- Promote choice, dignity and independence.
- Deliver truly person‑centred activities with supportive team, ensuring every day is better.
