Join our UK marketing team as Senior Brand Manager, leading the strategy and execution of integrated, omnichannel brand initiatives. This role is ideal for a commercially minded marketer who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, partners closely with sales and cross‑functional teams, and drives brand growth through insight‑led strategy, high quality execution, and strong governance.
Key Responsibilities- Brand Strategy & Planning: Developing and executing brand strategies aligned with business objectives for the women’s health portfolio. Owning the annual brand plan, including positioning, messaging, and budget management. Analysing market trends, customer insights, and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
- Marketing Execution: Leading the development and execution of integrated brand campaigns, leveraging a mix of traditional, digital, educational, and patient focused marketing approaches. Owning the creation and delivery of high quality promotional and non‑promotional marketing materials, including detail aids, digital assets, educational materials, congress materials, and patient support resources. Drive omnichannel marketing strategies across field force, digital, medical education, and patient support programs. Initiating and managing healthcare professional and patient market research to generate insights into customer needs, behaviours, and decision making.
- Cross Functional Collaboration: Managing the end to end approval of local promotional and non‑promotional materials through medical, legal, and regulatory review processes, ensuring full compliance with the ABPI Code of Practice. Working closely with sales team to ensure strong understanding of brand strategy and effective in field implementation. Coordinating with agencies, vendors, and internal stakeholders to deliver high quality outputs on time. Collaborating closely with global marketing colleagues to share best practices across markets.
- Performance Management: Tracking brand performance using KPIs, market research, and sales data. Monitoring ROI of marketing activities and optimise plans based on performance insights. Preparing and presenting brand performance reviews to senior leadership.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensuring all marketing activities comply with the ABPI Code of Practice, company policies, and regulatory & ethical standards.
- Extensive commercial business experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong experience in a Brand Manager or Senior Brand Manager role leading the brand strategy process, demonstrating commercial acumen.
- Prior experience in women’s health is desirable.
- Understanding of the ABPI code and UK governance environment.
- Strong strategic thinking and brand leadership capabilities.
- Deep knowledge of the UK Health system.
- Omnichannel marketing experience, using data to guide effective and impactful omnichannel campaigns.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Must be a strong collaborator, team player and individual contributor.
