The Compliance Manager supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of governance processes within the UK affiliate, ensuring that activities involving Medical, Commercial, and cross-functional teams are conducted in a consistent, compliant, and well-documented manner.

Working cross-functionally, the role coordinates SOPs, compliance training, approval processes, Medical Information, and transparency requirements, enabling effective and scalable execution of affiliate activities.

Medical Governance Processes
  • Support implementation and day-to-day operation of governance processes across Medical, Commercial, and cross-functional activities.
SOP and Process Management
  • Draft, maintain, and continuously improve SOPs and working practices for Medical-led and associated cross-functional activities.
  • Translate regulatory and industry requirements into practical, fit-for-purpose processes.
  • Manage document control, including versioning, formatting, and archiving.
Compliance Training
  • Coordinate and manage Medical compliance training (e.g. Support onboarding of new starters into Medical governance processes).
  • Contribute to identification of training needs and continuous improvement initiatives.
Transparency and Compliance Controls
  • Coordinate the Transfer of Value (ToV) process across Medical, Commercial, and Finance.
  • Maintain oversight of data, documentation, and approvals to ensure completeness.
  • Support reconciliation across systems to ensure accuracy and consistency with timely and compliant working.
Audit and Inspection Readiness
  • Support preparation for internal and external audits or inspections.

Substantial experience in Compliance, Medical Affairs operations, or a related function within the pharmaceutical industry including hands-on responsibility for governance, SOPs, or process management. Experience of acting as an Appropriately Qualified Person (AQP) desirable.
