General Responsibility
Reporting into the Regional Business Manager (RBM), the objective of the Women’s Health Key Account Manager (KAM) role is to establish Exeltis UK as a true partner in Women’s Health. This is a full-time field-based role for South London – must live in the territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Account Management
- Establish Exeltis as a trusted partner in women’s health across the assigned territory.
- Drive growth of the contraception, menopause and pregnancy portfolio, delivering performance in line with targets.
- Develop and execute ICS-level strategic business plans informed by data and insights.
- Build strong relationships across primary care, secondary care and ICS stakeholders.
- Deliver market access outcomes, including securing formulary and guideline inclusion.
- Maintain strong understanding of the evolving NHS landscape and women’s health environment.
- Provide high-quality insights to shape strategy and input cross-functionally across departments.
- Identify and progress commercial and partnership opportunities.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to maximise ROI.
- Maintain high levels of product and therapeutic knowledge.
- Complete administrative tasks, reporting, and CRM updates within timelines.
- Use data to identify opportunities, challenges, and growth.
- Operate in full compliance with the ABPI Code, UK regulations and internal processes.
Who you could engage with:
- Market access - formulary pharmacist, commissioners, etc.
- GPs with an interest in women’s health.
- Consultants working out of CASH (Contraception and Sexual Health) clinics and secondary care.
- Other HCPs associated with both, including senior nursing staff, specialist pharmacists, community pharmacists, community midwives, obstetricians, and private clinics.
Skills and experience
- Key Account Management experience, preferably experience working within sexual health, reproductive health or women’s health.
- Strong strategic business planning – demonstrate the ability to develop and execute a strategic business plan based on customer and market insights.
- Sharp data analysis skills.
- Highly proficient presentation skills both face to face and virtually.
- Experience securing formularies and a strong record of sales success.
- Strong understanding of how national and local NHS drivers influence local healthcare priorities.
- A passion for the therapy area and a belief in the company vision.
- Integrity and a curious nature.
- A strong collaborator mentality.
- High levels of resilience and tenacity.
- Computer literacy.
- Full driving license.
- ABPI qualified.
