This is a part-time on-site role for a Cleaning Supervisor located in Bury, on The Rock. Reporting directly to the Area Manager, the Cleaning Supervisor will oversee and manage a team of cleaning staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained.
Responsibilities include:
- Assigning tasks and supervising the completion of cleaning duties.
- Conducting quality inspections.
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols.
- Providing training and support to team members.
- Managing cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Qualifications:
- Supervisory Skills: Ability to lead, manage, and motivate a cleaning team effectively.
- Commercial Cleaning expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of cleaning methods, techniques, and equipment in commercial settings.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with staff and stakeholders.
- Health & Safety knowledge: Familiarity with workplace safety standards and protocols to ensure compliance and safe work environments.
- Organizational abilities and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
- Ability to deliver within a set specification for our client within the set budget.
Working Hours: 32 hours per week. 27.5 at £12.71 per hour and 4.5 at £12.21 per hour.
Shift times:
- Monday: 8am – 12.30pm
- Tuesday: 8am – 12.30pm
- Thursday: 8am – 3.30pm
- Friday: 7am – 12.30pm
- Saturday: 7am – 12.30pm
- Sunday: 10am – 2.30pm
