Enterprise Lead UK

Full-Time On-site
E

LOCATION: Remote (UK-based, with convenient access to London / key transport hubs)

REPORTS TO: Co-Founder

Our client is an established, high-growth European B2B technology vendor specialising in cloud-native software platforms, microservices architecture, and modern digital platform engineering. Backed by top-tier enterprise clients across Southern Europe, including industry leaders in Financial Services, Retail, Healthcare, and Transport, the company enables enterprise IT organisations to accelerate software delivery and modernise digital operations. Having built a highly profitable foundation in its home market, the business is now executing a funded, multi-region international expansion. The UK branch represents a primary strategic hub designed to spearhead growth across the UK market and establish a launchpad for future expansion.

MISSION

To lead the commercial launch and expansion of the UK branch by building a robust sales pipeline, establishing key strategic relationships, and closing foundational enterprise software deals. Operating as a hands-on "builder," you will establish a structured sales engine, mentor local team members, and elevate brand presence to position the UK operation as the growth hub for international expansion.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development & Sales Execution

  • Drive full‑lifecycle, complex enterprise sales cycles (£500k–€1M+ annual deal values) lasting typically 8 to 12 months.
  • Proactively generate, nurture, and close multi‑year software licensing contracts across key target verticals, including Financial Services, Healthcare, Retail, Mobility, and the broader Real Economy.
  • Apply consultative selling methodologies to engage CIOs, CTOs, and Enterprise Architects on cloud-native application development, microservices, and platform engineering.

Leadership & Process Building

  • Coordinate, coach, and support local SDR resources to optimise outbound demand generation efforts.
  • Establish structured, disciplined sales processes, accurate forecasting, and pipeline management.
  • Foster a high-performance, accountable sales culture within an autonomous scale‑up environment.

Brand Advocacy & Stakeholder Alignment

  • Act as the primary brand ambassador in the UK, actively participating in industry events, network groups, and regional brand-building initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with the European co-founders, General Managers, and HQ marketing/sales teams to align local GTM execution with broader corporate strategy.

REQUIREMENTS

Professional Experience

  • Proven track record in enterprise software vendors or cloud technology platforms, selling multi-year enterprise licenses.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and close large-scale enterprise deals (£500k–€1M+ per year).
  • Deep roots and an active network within the UK enterprise market to accelerate trust and outreach.

Skills & Mindset

  • A true "builder" mindset with a proven capacity to generate pipeline from zero rather than managing established accounts.
  • Outstanding executive presence, negotiation skills, and ability to build trust with senior technology leaders.
  • Ability to lead small commercial teams, instil sales discipline, and operate with high self-direction.
  • UK-wide travel for client engagements and periodic travel to European HQ (at least twice annually).

This role offers a unique springboard for a high-performing enterprise sales professional to step into strategic commercial leadership with direct founder access and high operational autonomy. You will have the opportunity to launch a proven, market-leading cloud-native platform with top-tier enterprise references into an untapped UK market, supported by an uncapped commission structure designed to double your base earnings alongside equity options. As the foundational lead spearheading this greenfield expansion, your success will directly pave the way for you to build the regional team and guide future international growth
