Our client is a growing hospitality and leisure business based in North London.

There are a number of sports facilities, restaurants, bars and leisure facilities based at the growing site in North London.

This is a broad, dynamic role where you will oversee the accounting for a number of different business units and revenue streams.

The role is responsible for the management accounts and analysis, and supervises a small team who provide transactional support.

This role would suit an experienced accountant who wants to take more autonomy.

This is a full-time, permanent role based at the site in North London, key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts including accruals and prepayments.
  • Performing variance analysis and contributing to the commentary around financials.
  • Assist in preparing financial summaries to support decision making by senior leadership.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register accurately.
  • Preparing monthly depreciation schedules and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Track and report on Cap Ex projects.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing.
  • Assist in regularly enhancing financial systems and various processes.
  • Supervise two assistant accountants.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and support across the wider business.

Successful candidates will have relevant management accounting experience and strong Excel skills.

Candidates can be studying towards qualification, or qualified by experience.

You will need to lead and manage a small team and have the ability to liaise upwards with the CFO.
