Our client is a rapidly growing technology business, working with a global blue chip client base.

As a result of this growth and development within the finance team they seek an assistant management accountant to support the Head of Finance.

This is a varied role with responsibility for the day-to-day financial operations of the business, including accounts payable, bank reconciliations across UK and international accounts, payroll and supporting the production of management accounts.

The business is growing and the finance team are developing their systems and processes, there is real opportunity for this role to develop and for the right individual develop their finance skills.

The role is based at their site in Cambridge and requires ideally four days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable Manage the day-to-day accounts payable function.

Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.

Ensure invoices are correctly coded and allocated to the appropriate nominal accounts and cost centres.

Maintain accurate supplier records.

Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.

Prepare and process supplier payment runs.

Respond to supplier and internal queries relating to accounts payable.

Ensure appropriate controls and processes are followed.
