THE COMPANY A superb opportunity has arisen for an accomplished commercial vehicle aftersales leader to make a significant contribution to the development and growth of this leading, premium brand business. Our client is one of the UK’s foremost commercial vehicle distributors, a well known, highly respected and ambitious £160m subsidiary of a major Group, supplying new and used commercial vehicles and aftersales services through a multi-site network around the South East. Their business proposition is most compelling – a long standing and enviable reputation for the supply of high quality products, great people, a blue chip customer base and a real passion for providing fantastic customer service. With significant opportunities for future growth and a focus on driving excellence through aftersales and service, an experienced and driven Aftersales Director is required to take this division to the next level. THE ROLE Reporting to the Managing Director and as a key member of the Senior Leadership team, your focus will be to:- * Lead a large, experienced multi-site team of aftersales, service and parts professionals, producing the highest levels of customer satisfaction * Maximise performance and profitability across all aftersales activities, achieving revenue and margin objectives in line with Group expectations * Work strategically with the MD and the manufacturer to deliver world class aftersales and service performance * Build strong and effective relationships with colleagues, the manufacturer and the parent group, working collaboratively with all key stakeholders * Promote a culture of excellence, quality and safety, exceeding customer expectations at all times * Train, coach and develop the aftersales team, enhancing skills, knowledge and experience at all levels * Work closely with senior colleagues across the business managing the highest levels of HSEQ compliance THE PERSON The ideal candidate will have a first-class track record of leadership and results achievement in an aftersales or service related role within the commercial vehicle sector. You may be an experienced Aftersales Director looking for a bigger role, or perhaps an ambitious, senior level Service or Aftersales Manager looking for your next exciting career step. Either way, your knowledge, experience and expertise in delivering positive results in this type of environment will be second to none.
