About the Company
We are a globally recognised provider of integrated business process solutions, helping organisations optimise operations through a unique blend of outsourcing, technology, analytics, finance & accounting (F&A), automation, and consulting. As we accelerate growth across the UK and Europe, we are seeking an enterprise sales leader to own and expand our Retail & Manufacturing verticals.
Role Overview
The Senior Vice President Sales is a key member of the sales leadership team, operating as a senior individual contributor and hunter. This role is not about managing existing accounts, it is about originating new client relationships, leveraging deep BPO/BPM expertise, and architecting blended solutions that drive measurable outcomes. You will work remotely from the UK, building pipeline, closing new business, and shaping our go-to-market strategy for the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Design and execute a targeted sales strategy for the UK/Europe region, focused exclusively on Retail and Manufacturing services. Identify and refine client segments across the retail and manufacturing ecosystem, including sub-sectors with high offshoring and outsourcing maturity. Partner with marketing, operations, finance, and product teams to align the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation through contract signature.
- Pipeline & Revenue Generation: Act as a hands-on hunter: originate, develop, and close net-new client opportunities using your personal network, lead generation engines, direct marketing campaigns, and digital outreach. Own individual quotas for signed revenue (new contracts) and billed revenue (first-year ramp). Lead complete response cycles for RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs, ensuring proposals are commercially sound, operationally feasible, and competitively differentiated. Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging client needs within retail and manufacturing. Advise senior management on new service line opportunities, product innovation, and partnership models based on frontline client feedback. Help shape the future of blended BPM/BPO offerings that incorporate automation, analytics, and consulting. Develop, manage, and syndicate sales budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics. Analyse sales effectiveness, cost of sale, and conversion metrics to improve efficiency and outcomes. Maintain rigorous forecasting discipline and pipeline hygiene. Build and sustain trusted advisor relationships with executive-level clients (C-suite and business unit heads). Lead steering committee reviews and ongoing governance for key client relationships, ensuring long-term partnership and expansion.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven BPO/BPM Sales Track Record: Significant, verifiable experience selling outsourcing, offshoring, or business process management solutions, with multiple new business wins in the UK or European market.
- Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge of either Retail or Manufacturing sectors, including understanding of pain points, operational dynamics, and opportunities for process transformation.
- Senior Sales Pedigree: Several years in a senior, individual contributor sales role, consistently exceeding targets for new logo acquisition.
- Network & Influence: Strong existing relationships with decision-makers in UK/Europe-based retail and manufacturing organisations, with specific experience in outsourcing and offshoring buying cycles.
- Consultative Selling Skills: Excellent presentation, negotiation, and persuasion skills, with the ability to craft compelling value propositions and handle complex objections.
- Business Acumen: Solid grounding in commercial dynamics, P&L drivers, and ROI-based selling. High initiative, creativity, and intrinsic motivation. Superior time management, attention to detail, and ability to build credibility quickly with executive audiences.
You thrive in a high-performance, highly motivated sales culture and are comfortable operating as an independent contributor within a collaborative team. This role is for you if you are a self-starting, quota-crushing senior sales professional who knows the BPO/BPM landscape, has deep retail or manufacturing relationships in the UK, and wants the autonomy, with the backing of an established global organisation.
