About the Role
We are looking for a commercially minded and highly motivated Relationship Manager to lead our VIP and Key Client division. In this dual sales and relationship leadership role, you will lead a small team while personally managing our most valuable customer portfolio. This is not a back-office administration role. You will be on the phone, building rapport, driving engagement, and owning retention. You will thrive in a fast-moving, performance-driven environment where results matter and data guides our decisions.
Key Responsibilities

- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of account executives or support staff to deliver exceptional client service.
- Sales & Retention: Proactively drive client engagement, identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and take ownership of retention metrics to minimize churn.
- Communication: Confidently pick up the phone and engage with clients via multiple channels. Build lasting rapport with high-net-worth or high-value individuals.
- Performance Ownership: Take full responsibility for the growth, health, and satisfaction of your client portfolio. Use data to inform decisions and track outcomes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the leadership team to refine VIP strategies and contribute to the growth of the business.
- Flexible Engagement: Be available to manage VIP relationships outside of standard working hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
Who You Are
- You have a proven background in sales, account management, key client management, Key Client / High Networth retention, or another customer-facing role where commercial outcomes matter.
- Confident & Charismatic: You excel at building instant rapport with demanding or high-expectation clients. You aren’t afraid to pick up the phone.
- Commercially Minded: You understand that relationships drive revenue. You are motivated by targets, bonuses, and performance-based success.
- Data-Informed: You don’t rely on guesswork. You use data to guide your decisions and improve client outcomes.
- Flexible: You understand that VIP relationships don’t adhere to a 9-to-5 schedule and are willing to work evenings/weekends when needed.
- Ownership-Driven: You take personal accountability for results, retention, and team performance.
