A Strategic Mandate for Transformation
We are seeking an accomplished Fractional Commercial Director to architect and drive a critical business transformation. This is a high-impact, part-time leadership role designed to fundamentally reshape the commercial engine of the firm. The primary mandate is to design and implement a new operating model that transitions 360 consultants into a specialised, deal-maker function, while fostering seamless collaboration between sales and delivery divisions. You will be the catalyst for embedding a high-performance culture, instilling rigorous commercial disciplines, and directly influencing the firm\'s strategic trajectory.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Strategy & Model Design: Lead the strategic shift from a 360-degree model to a specialised structure. Design and implement the framework for a new sales division, clearly defining the deal-maker role, processes, and its integration with the delivery team to ensure a seamless client journey.
- Leadership Development & Mentorship: Devise and deliver comprehensive leadership and mentorship plans for sales leaders. Your focus will be on elevating them from managers to exceptional coaches who can inspire their teams, drive performance, and consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Sales Excellence & Process Implementation: Establish a gold standard for consultative selling across the organisation. Create and embed best practices and a consistent sales methodology to improve win rates, enhance client quality, and drive predictable revenue growth.
- Cultural & Operational Integration: Champion the engagement between the Sales and Delivery operations, breaking down silos to create a unified, client-centric organisation. Support the board in embedding a robust reward and recognition culture that explicitly celebrates performance and aligns individual achievements with overarching business objectives.
- A proven track record of operating at Board or Leadership level, influencing strategic direction.
- Demonstrable experience in commercial strategy development and execution.
- Significant Direct, hands‑on experience within the Executive Search or Recruitment sector at a senior level.
- Deep understanding of complex B2B sales cycles and client engagement strategies in Recruitment.
- Proven experience in leading transformation and change initiatives within a similar, knowledge-based environment.
- Expertise in designing and implementing sales frameworks, methodologies, and performance metrics for an evolving sales function.
- A background in mentoring and coaching senior sales leaders to improve their capability and results.
