The Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Commercial Director to join a fast-growing FMCG business with established retailer relationships and a diverse product portfolio across the UK and Europe.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for shaping and executing the commercial strategy that drives sustainable revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.

The Role

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue growth strategy across UK and EU markets.
  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, new market opportunities, and category growth initiatives.
  • Oversee pricing, contract negotiations, and commercial strategies to optimise profitability.
  • Lead data-driven commercial initiatives to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Establish and refine outbound sales strategies to secure high-value retail deals.
  • Hold full accountability for revenue performance, leading and developing the sales organisation to deliver ambitious growth targets.
  • Align sales, marketing, and product functions to ensure a cohesive, customer-focused commercial approach

Experience Required

FMCG Expertise - Deep understanding of FMCG/retail dynamics and a proven ability to build strategic partnerships with major UK and EU customers.

Demonstrated history of leading an SME through accelerated growth (e. g., £20m to £80m tur nover).

Market Share & Turnover Growth - Evidence of growing market share and increasing turnover in competitive retail environments.

A data-driven leader with strategic thinking, strong execution capabilities, and a focus on customer relationships.
