About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and driven Electrical Contracts Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of installation projects from pre-construction through to final handover. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards—while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring profitability.
Key to this role is your ability to manage all project resources effectively, lead subcontractor teams, and maintain rigorous compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage electrical installation projects from handover to completion, ensuring profitable delivery and customer satisfaction
- Lead financial planning, risk management, and forecasting for your project portfolio
- Coordinate labour, materials, and subcontractors to maximise efficiency and quality
- Ensure full compliance with HSEQ regulations and company standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Attend regular contracts meetings and provide clear reporting on project progress
- Conduct site visits as required to monitor delivery and resolve issues promptly
Experience Required
- Proven experience as an Electrical Contracts or Project Manager within the construction industry
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project finances and risk
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
- Outstanding customer service focus and client relationship skills
- Relevant qualifications including:
- 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing
- ECS / CSCS Card
- Full UK Driving Licence
