You will play a key role in advising clients on a broad range of transport regulatory matters, with a particular focus on operator licensing and compliance. Your day‑to‑day work will involve a mix of advisory, investigatory, and advocacy responsibilities.

  • Managing and progressing cases linked to regulatory action, including preparing evidence, coordinating documentation, and shaping legal arguments.
  • Supporting clients during interviews conducted under caution by enforcement bodies such as the DVSA and police.
  • Handling regulatory enquiries, including formal investigations and compliance assessments.
  • Delivering practical training sessions for clients, such as simulated Public Inquiries and incident response scenarios.

Skills Required

  • Applications sought from Regulatory Solicitors with 2-6 Years PQE transport regulatory experience or willingness to be developed in this area.
  • Proven ability to manage complex caseloads under pressure.
  • Outstanding communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Advocacy experience would be advantageous.
