An outstanding opportunity to join the Employment & Pensions department of a top 50 UK Law firm, with an excellent salary and benefits package on offer.
Due to continued growth, this well-regarded firm is seeking an experienced solicitor to bolster its thriving pension law practice. This role offers exposure to varied and high-quality pensions work, including defined benefit schemes sponsored by leading universities, charities, and public sector organisations. You will work closely alongside the team at a senior level, offering support to the partners and assisting in the supervision and development of junior members of the team.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8 years’ PQE gained from a leading law firm, with substantive experience in a pensions law practice. You must possess solid technical expertise in employment law matters and be able to deliver high quality and commercially focused advice. The role requires experience in bulk annuity transactions, public sector pension schemes (acting for either employers or trustees), corporate transactional support, and day-to-day advisory work for ongoing schemes. Proven business development capabilities, including expanding work from existing clients and securing new mandates, are also essential.
