This role offers an excellent opportunity for a senior lawyer with strong contentious restructuring and insolvency experience to play a key role in advising clients, developing the practice and supporting the growth of the wider team.
Responsibilities
- Advise on a broad range of restructuring and insolvency matters, working closely with colleagues across the firm and contributing to the continued development of the practice.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date technical knowledge, and work collaboratively with colleagues across the team to share expertise and best practice.
- Contribute to business development activity, including identifying and pursuing networking opportunities internally and externally, marketing initiatives, and cross‑selling opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Support, supervise and train junior members of the team.
Skills Required
- Minimum of 6 years’ PQE as a Restructuring & Insolvency Solicitor.
- Strong grounding in contentious restructuring and insolvency.
- Excellent technical ability and strong drafting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage client relationships effectively.
- Strong teamwork and relationship‑building skills.
- Sound commercial awareness and a strategic mindset.
- Proactive, ambitious and organised approach, with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to supervise more junior members of the team.
