Following an initial training period, a typical working week will see you spending most of your time in court, prosecuting a broad spectrum of offences and applying your diverse skills to secure effective outcomes. The remaining time will be dedicated to preparing cases. You will benefit from comprehensive induction training, tailored modules, mentoring, and hands‑on coaching, making the role of a Prosecutions Lawyer more accessible to lawyers looking to shift their career path.

Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors and Barristers that currently hold a valid practising certificate in England and Wales, that have resided in the UK for at least five years. Whilst experience in a contentious area of law is preferable, this role is open to lawyers from all disciplines with the desire to learn.

You should have excellent verbal and written communication, along with the ability to deliver well‑reasoned judgments and demonstrate strong decision‑making skills.
