We are looking for an organised, proactive and professional Legal Secretary to join a busy Residential Property department. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy being a key part of a collaborative team, this could be the ideal role for you.
THE ROLE
As a Legal Secretary, you will play an essential role in supporting property lawyers and ensuring the smooth running of a high-volume caseload. You'll be involved in every stage of the conveyancing process, helping deliver an efficient and first-class service to clients.
- Provide administrative and secretarial support to fee earners in the Residential Property team
- Prepare correspondence and legal documents, including contracts, transfers, and completion statements
- Audio and copy typing using digital dictation
- Manage diaries, booking appointments, and organising meetings
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within a residential conveyancing team
- Strong typing and IT skills, including familiarity with case management systems
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive, "can-do" attitude
- A team player with a professional and friendly approach
