You will join a well-established Dispute Resolution team handling a varied caseload of insolvency and bankruptcy matters. The role will involve advising insolvency office holders, directors, creditors, and debtors, with exposure to both contentious and advisory work. Your responsibilities will include acting on corporate and personal insolvency matters, antecedent transactions, director disqualification, administrations, and pre-pack sales, winding-up and bankruptcy petitions, and asset realisation. You will also have the opportunity to attend hearings, mediations, conferences, and client meetings while developing your own client relationships and professional profile. This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor looking to develop a specialist insolvency practice within a supportive and commercially focused team.
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with 1–5 years’ PQE and experience in insolvency litigation and Court procedures, particularly matters involving the Insolvency and Companies Court and County Courts. You will have experience handling insolvency and bankruptcy matters, alongside strong drafting, analytical and legal research skills. Excellent client care and communication skills, good organisational and matter management abilities, and a commercial, practical approach to problem-solving are essential. You will be able to work confidently both independently and as part of a collaborative team, with strong academics, a genuine interest in developing a specialist insolvency practice and a proactive approach to business development and building long‑term client relationships.
