A senior opportunity to join a highly regarded regional firm and take a leading role in the growth of its property litigation offering, working with an established client base and a supportive, collaborative partnership.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Property Litigation Solicitor to join a well-established regional firm at Partner level. The role sits within a respected litigation team advising on a broad range of commercial and residential property disputes. You will lead on complex matters including:

  • Commercial lease renewals under the 1954 Act
  • Rent recovery
  • Dilapidations
  • Service charge disputes
  • Forfeiture and possession proceedings
  • Rights of light
  • Restrictive covenants
  • Easements
  • Breach of covenant issues
  • Break notices

You will take responsibility for managing a busy caseload, working closely with clients to provide strategic advice on dispute resolution and risk mitigation. The role also involves instructing and working alongside Counsel and experts where appropriate, supervising and mentoring junior Fee Earners, and contributing to the continued development of the team. This is a key hire for the firm and offers real scope to shape and grow the property litigation practice.

The successful candidate will be a senior Property Litigation Lawyer with strong experience across both commercial and residential disputes, ideally gained within a reputable regional or national firm. You will demonstrate excellent client service, strong technical ability and a consistent financial performance, together with an appetite for business development and a genuine interest in growing client relationships. A collaborative approach is essential, alongside a commitment to developing junior Lawyers through hands-on supervision and mentoring.
