We are working with a highly regarded national law firm that is looking to appoint an established Employment Partner to join its growing Bristol team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded partner with a strong client following who wants the support, profile and infrastructure of a national firm while retaining the autonomy to develop and grow their own practice.

The Opportunity

You will join an established and ambitious employment team advising a diverse portfolio of businesses and senior individuals across a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.

The role will involve:

  • Advising employers and senior executives on a wide range of employment matters.
  • Handling complex employment disputes and tribunal litigation.
  • Advising on senior exits, restrictive covenants, discrimination and whistleblowing.
  • Supporting clients with employment aspects of corporate transactions and restructures.
  • Developing and maintaining long-standing client relationships.
  • Taking an active role in business development and generating new opportunities.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm's wider national network.

About You

We are looking for an established Employment Partner with:

  • A strong track record in employment law.
  • A portable and demonstrable client following.
  • Excellent technical expertise and commercial judgement.
  • A strong reputation within the Bristol and wider South West market.
  • The ability and ambition to develop and grow a significant practice.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A genuine interest in contributing to the wider success and growth of the firm.

Whether your background is predominantly contentious, non-contentious or a strong combination of both, we would be interested in speaking with established partners who can bring a strong client base and a clear growth strategy.

Why This Opportunity?

This is more than simply a move between firms. It is an opportunity to join a national platform with the resources, brand and infrastructure to support an ambitious Employment Partner.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Grow your existing client relationships.
  • Access a broader national client base.
  • Work alongside leading lawyers across multiple practice areas.
  • Develop your profile within the Bristol market.
  • Play a key role in the continued growth of the employment offering.
