The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 £ per year.
Due to business growth, an opportunity has arisen for an additional Construction Lawyer to join our client's legal team. As part of a small but strong legal team, you will be at the very heart of the business advising on legal issues and reducing risk. The role will include:
- Reviewing and negotiating global project appointments
- Working with a range of stakeholders across the business on construction projects
- Supporting the implementation of legal risk management policies
- Management of the legal team (where relevant)
- Providing assistance to other areas, data protection, IPR, property, debt
- Assisting the other members of the legal team on wider strategic projects
THE CANDIDATE:
Ideal candidates will be:
- Qualified Solicitors with 4+ years’ PQE
- Experience of professional appointments
- Experience of construction contracts
- Legal experience of construction law preferably gained in a consultancy environment or with a client/contractor (nice to have)
- Great analytical skills and excellent legal knowledge
- Ability to multitask, problem solve, and balance competing priorities
- Ability to communicate effectively and confidently with a wide range of stakeholders
