Commercial Litigation Solicitor, 6+ Years PQE, Exeter, £70,000+ (DOE) – This is a pivotal role for an ambitious litigator ready to take the lead on complex, high-value disputes and make a meaningful impact within one of the UK’s leading commercial litigation practices. JOB REF:0773.

THE ROLE:
• Lead and manage a varied caseload of commercial disputes, including contract, shareholder, partnership, professional negligence, fraud, and regulatory matters.
• Advise clients from a range of sectors, providing strategic, commercially driven advice throughout the litigation lifecycle.
• Represent clients in litigation, arbitration, and mediation, managing cases from pre-action through to enforcement.
• Draft pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and contribute to the professional development of the team.
• Engage in business development and thought leadership activities, expanding your network and helping to grow the practice.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
• 6+ years’ PQE in commercial litigation at a top UK law firm.
• Strong experience in handling complex disputes, ideally including high-value, cross-border matters and arbitration.
• Excellent litigation, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• A commercial mindset with the ability to provide pragmatic legal solutions.
• Experience in mentoring junior team members and leading case teams.
• A proactive approach to business development and client relationship management.
• A collaborative spirit and commitment to knowledge-sharing.
