A well-established and highly regarded law firm in Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced Private Client Paralegal to join its busy and expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior paralegal with substantial private client experience to join a supportive and collaborative practice with a strong reputation for client care and high-quality work.
You will play a key role within a busy private client department, supporting solicitors and partners while also handling matters with a high degree of autonomy. The caseload will include a broad range of private client work, including:
- Wills and estate planning
- Probate and estate administration
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Trust administration
- Court of Protection matters
- General private client support and client liaison
The team acts for a wide range of clients, including elderly and vulnerable individuals, families, and high-net-worth clients, requiring a sensitive and professional approach at all times.
The successful candidate will:
- Have 10+ years’ experience within a Private Client team
- Possess strong technical knowledge across wills, probate, and estate administration
- Be highly organised and capable of managing a busy workload
- Experience of case management software and WillSuite ideal
- Demonstrate excellent client care and communication skills
- Be empathetic and confident when dealing with elderly or vulnerable clients and sensitive matters
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Experience dealing directly with clients and progressing matters with minimal supervision is essential.
