The role

  • You will provide practical, solutions-focused advice to clients across a broad range of contentious construction matters.
  • You will apply your technical expertise while considering the client’s business, sector, and commercial objectives.
  • Advising clients on contentious construction matters across your areas of expertise.
  • Managing your own caseload, with support and supervision where required.
  • Supervising and delegating to junior team members as needed.
  • Contributing to business development activities and participating in the firm’s structured programme to build BD skills.

Skills required

  • Applications are sought from Construction Solicitors with a minimum of 5 years PQE in contentious construction matters.
  • Strong technical skills and a good understanding of construction issues.
  • Experience managing your own caseload, with an understanding of when to escalate issues.
  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues.
  • Proactive, self-motivated and organised approach, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Commercial awareness and a keen interest in developing business development skills.
