The role
- You will provide practical, solutions-focused advice to clients across a broad range of contentious construction matters.
- You will apply your technical expertise while considering the client’s business, sector, and commercial objectives.
- Advising clients on contentious construction matters across your areas of expertise.
- Managing your own caseload, with support and supervision where required.
- Supervising and delegating to junior team members as needed.
- Contributing to business development activities and participating in the firm’s structured programme to build BD skills.
Skills required
- Applications are sought from Construction Solicitors with a minimum of 5 years PQE in contentious construction matters.
- Strong technical skills and a good understanding of construction issues.
- Experience managing your own caseload, with an understanding of when to escalate issues.
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues.
- Proactive, self-motivated and organised approach, with excellent attention to detail.
- Commercial awareness and a keen interest in developing business development skills.
