An established and well-regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Head of Residential Property to join its team on a succession-planned basis.
Responsibilities
- Lead the residential conveyancing department, with responsibility for managing 2 offices and overseeing the day to day running of the team.
- Take responsibility for high quality residential property work, including transactions for high net worth clients that are currently handled at Partner level.
- Develop a strong pipeline of quality instructions and further internal referral relationships.
- Role will be primarily office-based, with the flexibility to work from home one to two days per week.
- Progress into the firm’s management team in the longer term.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with 8+ years’ PQE in residential property.
- Strong technical expertise across the full range of residential conveyancing matters.
- Ability to supervise and mentor other fee earners with commercial awareness and a proactive leadership style.
- Interest in contributing to the strategic development of the firm; suitable for a Senior Residential Conveyancer seeking Head of Department or an existing department head seeking succession-planned, long-term progression.
